I applaud the St. Petersburg Review for its focus on well-written international writing, and I encourage readers and writers to discover the international literary community within its pages. Rachel King, NewPages (December 2008).
This is a very special experience to hold this book in your hands and enjoy the graceful elegance of its design, to dive into an intense world of human feelings and sharp intellect, to breathe in its innovative spirit, and to feel the heartbeat of those for whom literature is a way of life. Marina Goldovskaya, documentary filmmaker, author of Woman with a Camera
…[T]his is a solid collection of writing that lives up to the creators’ expectations: “a unique aesthetic, singular in its expression yet collective in spirit.” Corey J. Murray, The Literary Magazine Review
“St. Petersburg Review lights up a new window on the world of literature, all two hundred pages of it. The Russian literature is priceless, and the international literature well worth it. Read!” Ann Wolf, NewPages |
